Where this comes from The same two files the calendar page reads, so nothing here is kept by hand and nothing can fall out of step with what is on the calendar. The feasts, the garden dates, and the signs in the woods are the site's own list. The council meetings, the county collection days, and the market come from the towns and from Jefferson County, and the two Alabama sales tax holidays are written as the rules the state sets them by rather than as a list of years, so they are right in every year on this page. Where a date has a source worth reading, the row links out to it.
